We were just in Mexico for a destination wedding and to anyone still on the fence about having one: second guess no further and just do it! We attended as guests (I was best man ahem) and were still able to document and participate with great balance. While we weren't the official photographers it was a wonderful experience to steal the shots we wanted at our own leisure. Oh and big up to the Norwegian DJs who lured us in with exceptional music on the patio!
ps - for those of you wondering I am in the last shot on the far left and NOT the far right side. Just clarifying.
Contrary to popular belief a wedding doesn't need to cost a fortune nor does it have to take place in a hall, with lights and a smoke machine... and heavy drapery... and sparkle dust on the table. Unveil recently shot a beautifully subtle but natural wedding outside in a barn across the street from a small church. Emphasis on the importance of proximity of ceremony to reception and being able to walk from one to the other in less than two minutes cuts out travel time and leaves more for taking pictures. The couple had collected bits and pieces of vintage/found items to include throughout the day allowing for exquisite personal shots!
